Vikesh gained his dental qualification from the University of Leeds, following which he spent a year travelling and working as a dentist in various parts of Australia. On returning to the UK he carried out multiple hospital posts throughout the country in oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, paediatric and restorative dentistry.
His interest in root canal treatment led to him obtaining an MSc in Endodontics from the University College London, Eastman Dental Hospital. He now divides his time between carrying out complex root canal treatments on a referral basis and teaching endodontics at the University of Birmingham.
Outside of work Vikesh enjoys travelling and watching or participating in pretty much most sports.
