The Veneer Placement Process
You’ll usually need two to three appointments two weeks apart. At The Dental Suite, we’ve enhanced numerous smiles using this clinically proven method.
STEP ONE: YOUR SMILE ASSESSMENT
During your first appointment, we’ll gather the information to create your beautiful smile. This includes taking images and impressions. At this stage, we’ll also look at the health of your teeth to ensure veneers are right for you.
We’ll send this information to our highly skilled technicians so they can make your bespoke veneers.
STEP TWO: PREVIEWING YOUR NEW SMILE
Patients can preview their new smile thanks to advanced techniques such as digital scanning or diagnostic wax-ups. Through these methods, patients can visualise the anticipated outcome of their veneers, allowing for adjustments and ensuring satisfaction with the final result.
STEP THREE: PREPARING YOUR NEW SMILE
At the preparation appointment, we’ll remove a portion of the enamel from each tooth receiving veneers before placing temporary restorations.
STEP FOUR: PLACING YOUR VENEERS
After the lab has produced your beautiful veneers, we can place them. We’ll ensure they fit perfectly before bonding them in position.
Once in place, the proper care will mean you can enjoy your new smile for many years to come.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many appointments will I need?
Usually, you will need two to three appointments two weeks apart.
At the first appointment it is very important we get all the information that we require to get your beautiful smile. This would be photographs, models of your teeth and recording the way you bite. After we send all this information to our highly qualified technician we would get a blueprint of what your teeth could possibly look like. This would be shown to you for your approval.
How long will the veneers last?
It is very important that hygienist appointments are maintained after the fit of the veneers. The veneers should last up to 10 years. There are various reasons why the veneers may require replacing. This could range from recession of the gums to fracture of the porcelain.
