Specialist Register for Anaesthetics
Dr Nick Crombie is a consultant anaesthetist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham where he specialises in major trauma and complex head and neck surgery.
Having qualified from Nottingham University Medical School, Nick trained in the West Midlands gaining both the Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Fellowship in Immediate Medical Care of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). Nick is an experienced air ambulance doctor and has been the Medical Director of Midlands Air Ambulance for six years. Nick is also involved in research in prehospital medicine.
As a highly experienced hospital anaesthetist, Dr Crombie offers a deeper level sedation for nervous patients that need it and has a wide ranging cocktail of medications and equipment at his disposal to achieve the sedation, monitoring and recovery required to meet every patient’s individual needs.
