Mouth Cancer Awareness Walk

article by Raha Sepehrara
The Dental Suite Team is taking part in a sponsored walk to raise awareness on oral cancer. The walk is on 20th September 2008 in Hyde Park, London.
The risk of developing mouth cancer is linked with alcohol and cigarette consumption. It has been shown that a good healthy diet can help prevent cancer.
Mouth cancer is rare, but unfortunately the survival rates are low as it's often detected when it's too late. One of the main reasons why it is essential to go to your dentist regularly is to have your mouth checked regularly so that if there is anything abnormal and sinister (usually rare) this is detected early.
