At our Loughborough and Leicester dental clinics we see many patients who have suffered trauma to their front teeth.  In some circumstances after the trauma has occurred, the tooth may go dark. The options available in these situation are

  1. Internal bleaching
  2. Crowns
  3. Veneers

At The Dental Suite we use a master ceramist to produce veneers or crowns WHICH LOOK LIKE TEETH. To achieve this , the ceramist should have great artistic abilities and a thorough knowledge in materials to achieve a realistic result.

Below is an example of case which was recently completed. The patient presented with a dark fractured front tooth and wished to improve the appearance of her front two teeth. We suggested 2 high quality emax veneers.

The sequence of treatment was

  1. Diagnostic wax up to show the patient what we could achieve.
  2. Preparation on the front two teeth for veneers and placement of 2 high quality temporary veneers
  3. The patient had a consultation and computer shade match taken with the master ceramist
  4. Final try in and fit of the veneers.
