Following the well-deserved win at the Dentistry awards as Best Young Dentist in the Midlands, Kal was asked to do interviews for the local media.
Kal appeared in the Leicester Mercury, in the Loughborough Echo and on ITV central news.
The interviews highlighted Kal's success in treating patients nervous about dental treatment. During the interviews Kal spoke about the importance of educating patients and explaining treatments to them in order to reduce fears of dental treatment. He discussed what methods he uses to make sure his patients feel comfortable and relaxed during treatment. Using distraction methods, such as large flat screen tvs, relaxing music, massage chair, dvd goggles have all proved to be very successful relaxation tools. For the very nervous, Kal offers IV sedation.
