Italian-born Dr Raha Sepehrara moved from Rome to Dundee in 1998 to go to University. While studying there, she met her now-husband and practice co-owner, Dr Kalpesh Bohara.
During her years at Dental School at Birmingham, Raha received numerous awards and also qualified with a distinction in Clinical Dentistry. Her constant thirst for knowledge and passion for dentistry pushed her to travel the world to attend the best courses in her field of interest, Orthodontics. She visited the US, Spain, Italy and other parts of the UK on many occasions to learn from the best in Orthodontics, in order to translate her education into excellent clinical skills in her treatments. She also obtained her MSc in Orthodontics with Merit from the University of Warwick which reinforced all of her current Orthodontic knowledge.
Raha was the first UK dentist to obtain a Master Damon Certificate after advanced training with world-renowned Orthodontists Dr Perera and Dr Espejo. She has also achieved the Master Level status in six months braces in the USA and was one of the first in the country to learn under the direct tutelage of Dr Rick De Paul (Six Month Braces pioneer). She was also the first dentist to offer the Inman Aligner in Leicestershire.
Raha has nearly ten years experience in orthodontics and has completed over a thousand cases. She has also assisted in organising and running orthodontic courses for general dentists.
She offers comprehensive orthodontics, fixed and removable aesthetically focused braces (aimed at the anterior region) and also lingual braces.
