The Dental Suite in Leicester and Loughborough do charity work for Local and National Charities

All the Dental Suite members are committed to charity work and recently one of our team took part in the London marathon raising money for Prostate Cancer Awareness and other two members of staff did a skydive in aid of the Forget-Me-Not appeal

the Dental Suite Leicester Oadby Stoneygate helps different Charities

All our members at the Dental Suite have always been involved in charity work and try to support as many charities as possible.

Some examples of our charity work are:

- raising money for Mouth Cancer Awareness by doing a 10km walk in London.

-Our amazing hygienist Rebecca raised thousands of pounds for Prostate cancer by doing the London Marathon

- our fantastic  Loughborough practice manager Jenny has supported Rainbow charity by organising a fashion show to raise money

- our dentist Raha has raised money for Cancer Research by taking part in the race for life

- our Leicester practice manager Nicola and dental nurse Emma are doing a skydive in a few weeks to help raise money for the forget-me-not appeal

The Dental Suite Completes Charity Walk

We completed our charity walk in aid of the Mouth Cancer Foundation last Saturday, 20th September 2008 in London’s Hyde Park. It was a great experience for us and we were really lucky that it was a beautiful sunny day. The atmosphere was great and we met lots of amzing people and survivors of this debilitating disease.

We have so far raised over £500.00 and we would like to say thanks to patients, family and friends for donating money to this worthy cause. Mouth Cancer Awareness Walk

The Dental Suite Team is taking part in a sponsored walk to raise awareness on oral cancer. The walk is on 20th September 2008 in Hyde Park, London.

The risk of developing mouth cancer is linked with alcohol and cigarette consumption. It has been shown that a good healthy diet can help prevent cancer.

Mouth cancer is rare, but unfortunately the survival rates are low as it’s often detected when it’s too late. One of the main reasons why it is essential to go to your dentist regularly is to have your mouth checked regularly so that if there is anything abnormal and sinister (usually rare) this is detected early.
