when a front tooth breaks off

At our practice we see patients from all over the midlands, from thurmaston to chesterfield, from leicester to arnold. We see a number of emergencies where new patients have just snapped off the crown of a front tooth.

In some cases there is an adequate amount of tooth left to provide a post-crown, which consists of a “metal peg” which is inserted into the canal of a tooth after the nerve has been taken out. The peg allows for a core to be build up on the tooth and this core is used to hold a crown.

In some cases the fractured tooth is unrestorable and requires extraction. In such cases an immediate denture can be provided. We are able to provide an immediate denture within a week. If the patient does not want to be with a visible gap, then an immediate denture can be constructed within a day for an extra cost.

Therefore, if you break off a front crown, do not panic, we will try our best to help you

We are really pleased to be able to offer Damon braces both in Loughborough and in Leicester.
Damon braces areĀ  part of a fantastic orthodontic system, the Damon system. Damon braces have a special design, which differentiates them from traditional train tracks.

Their special design allows the use of light forces on teeth, which speeds up overall treatment time when compared with traditional braces. It also allows for less adjustment visits and the treatment is more comfortable than traditional orthodontics.

The results are fantastic!

I was recently lucky enough to meet Dr Damon himself and had a photo takent with him. He was a lovely down to earth guy, with great wealth of experience and knowledge. He changed the world of orthodontics with his system and his treatment philosophy and I am really proud to be able to offer this treatment to my patients

We have just recently completed a invisalign treatment for a patient from Oadby in Leicester. A few days after completion she phoned the practice to say

1. She was completely thrilled with her new smile.

2. She always looked forward to coming to the practice and enjoyed her visits andĀ  chats to the staff.

3. She explained she never experienced the level of service in the past in other businesses and dental practices.

4. Finally she said that we had the best team!

A few days later she sent a card expressing her gratitude.
